Joan’s Obituary Joan Marie Merceri, 79 Joan M. Merceri of Lakeland, Florida passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Grand Villa of Lakeland. She was born July 2, 1939 in Hartford, Connecticut to the late Michael and Ella (Minney) Babela. She has been a resident for 39 years coming from Springfield, Massachusetts. She was a Homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband George O. Merceri. Survivors include her daughters Debbie Albert and husband Duane of Winter Haven, FL, Dale Lash of Ruskin, FL, Donna McDaniel and husband Ron of Ruskin, FL, Darlene Levinson and husband Jim of Lakeland, FL, Karen Jackson and husband Kevin of Lakeland, FL, sister Mary Menard and husband Art of Maryville, TN, brother Michael Babela of CA, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
