She was born in Rensselaerville, New York, the daughter of Frank and Bertha (Danner) Hallenbeck. She was a retired grocery chain accountant. She enjoyed golf, bowling, and gardening, was a great cook, quilter, charity worker and member of the Red Hats Society. Jean is survived by her husband of 62 years, Raymond; her children, Raymond, Robert, and his wife, Barbara, Ronald, and his wife, Julianne, daughter, Cynthia, and her husband, David Cardoso; brother Frank, and his wife, Kathleen; and 6 grandchildren. The family suggests that memorial donations may be made in Jean’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
