JC Wooten January 29 1935 – January 26 2019

Obituary for J.C. Wooten Print J. C. Wooten was born January 29th, 1935 in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma the son of Thurman and Nellie Wooten and passed from this life on January 26th, 2019 at the age of 83. He married the love of his life, Bobbie Speck Wooten in 1952. They spent 61 wonderful years together until Bobbie’s death in 2013. J.C. and Bobbie were longtime members of First Baptist church of Webbers Falls where he was the greeter, a job that he loved. J.C. was a master of many things, from mechanics to woodworking to driving farm trucks and tractors and the most important, driving school buses, where he was loved by all the kids. Survivors include his son Michael Wooten and daughter Shellie Summerlin, seven grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. J. C. Was preceded in death by his wife Bobbie, brother Winford Wooten, sister Shirley Hughart and parents Thurman and Nellie Wooten. Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Webbers Falls 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 29th, his birthday.
