Ms. Janice Louise Harvey, age 54 of Macclenny passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Starke on June 9, 1964 to the late Mr. Willard Waters and Ms. Myrtle Lee. Ms. Harvey was a lifelong resident of Baker County. She was a homemaker and family, especially her grandkids, was most important in her life. In her free time, Janice loved going to yard sales and her favorite thing to collect was Native American memorabilia. She also enjoyed fishing from time to time. She will be remembered as an easy going soul who never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need. She is preceded in death by her father. She leaves behind her son: Anthony “Bubba” (Nicki) Harvey of Macclenny; daughters: Amanda (Stanley) Perry of St. George and Leann (James) Arnett of Macclenny; numerous grandchildren; mother: Myrtle Lee of Jacksonville; brothers: Randy (Anna) Waters of Jacksonville and Danny (Sheila) Stokes of Palm Coast; and fiancé: Jack Jarvis of Macclenny. A Celebration of Janice’s Life will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Forbes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home an hour prior to the service. Ms. Harvey will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Macedonia Cemetery, Macclenny.
