Obituary for James Ronald Nelson Print James Ronald Nelson, 85 of Cohasset, MN passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at Autumn Lane Assisted Living. He was born September 5, 1933 in Cook, MN to Carl and Anna (Persson) Nelson. James was a U.S. Army Veteran. He married Sharon Kerr in Hammond, IN in 1957. James worked as a DNR Forester until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, camping and many canoeing trips to the boundary waters. James was a gifted woodworking artist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Nelson; parents; brothers, Roy, David, Sr. and Robin Nelson. James is survived by his daughters, Anita (Brian) Huju of Grand Rapids, MN, Kathleen (Daniel) Ruelle of Sioux Falls, SD; five grandchildren, Dakota (Rebecca) Ruelle, Sierra Ruelle, Autumn Huju, Noah Huju, Nate Huju; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He has lived at Autumn Lane Assisted Lane for the past nine years and the family cannot thank their staff enough for their loving care of James. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring.
