Obituary for James Edward Burkett Print James Edward Burkett, age 80, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 24, 2018, at the DuBois Penn Highlands Hospital in DuBois, PA. He was born on March 4, 1938 to the late John E. and Ethyl L. (Morris) Burkett. James attended the Reynoldsville High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He spent most of his life driving trucks until he retired. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed woodworking. James is survived by three children; William J. (Tammy) Burkett of Brookville, PA; James L. Burkett of Big Run, PA; and Robert A. Burkett of Reynoldsville, PA; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and six siblings; Ruby Bair of Rossiter, PA; Donald Burkett of Houghton Lake, Michigan; John Burkett of Houghton Lake, Michigan; Judy Jones of Florida; Norman Burkett of Clifton Springs, New York; and Mary Ann Pietkiewicz. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by one sibling; Pauline Kniseley.
