Jacqueline S. “Jackie” Singer, 68 years, of Holland, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 18, 2019 in Holland. Born April 8, 1950 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Jackie was the daughter of the late Ottis F. and Ruby O. (Weaver) Phillips. She attended Whitney High School in Toledo, OH. On April 11, 1995 Jackie married her beloved husband, Donald R. Singer in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jackie was employed as a restaurant manager. She enjoyed going to the MGM Grand Casino in Detroit and playing slot machines. Most of all she enjoyed time spent with family. Jackie is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Don, six loving children; Anthony (Lorraine) McCoy, Sr. of Indiana, Brent (Melissa) McCoy of Oregon, OH, Janene Singer of Toledo, OH, Jason (Wendi) McCoy of Sylvania, OH, Melissa (Brent) McCoy of Oregon, OH, and Donald Singer of Toledo, OH, seven cherished grandchildren and one treasured great grandchild. In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by a grandson; Anthony McCoy, Jr. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, MI, 48161 from 11:00 am until funeral services celebrating her life at 1:00 pm. The Rev. Gerry Hartke, of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Oregon, OH, will officiate. Interment will follow at LaSalle Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Promedica Hospice.
