Obituary for JACKLYN GRACE POLIFKA Jacklyn Grace Polifka (nee Travers) passed away Saturday evening, Jan. 5, 2019 at Chilton Hospital following an extended illness. Her husband was at her side. She was 78. Born in Orange, NJ, she had lived in Paterson, NJ, Elmwood Park, NJ, and Rockaway, NJ before coming to the Pine Brook section of Montville Township, NJ 20 years ago. Mrs. Polifka had worked in the Deli Department at Shop Rite Supermarket in Lincoln Park for many years, retiring 10 years ago. Preceded in death by her daughter, Tami Gortych; she is survived by her husband of 46 years, Thomas W. Polifka; a son, Samuel Worflar and his wife Tina of Herndon, VA; her siblings, Barbara Mueser of Wayne, NJ, William Travers of Lloyd’s Valley, PA, and Marge Kenny of England; three granddaughters and their husbands, Krystal Vaka (Christian), Samantha Palmer (Chad) and Ashley Gerlach; and three great grandchildren, Nikolaos Palmer and Dominic and Declan Vaka.
