Jack F. King, Sr., age 77, of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully on Thursday Jan 24, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Sarah “Sally” (Bowen) King. Born in Portland, ME, he was a son of the late Alfred and Delta (Robinson) King. Jack owned National Refrigeration, Inc. which he founded in 1969. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Jack was a lifelong mariner and held a commercial captains license and was well known in the boating community, hailing from Wickford Shipyard for most of his life. In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Jack King, Jr. of North Kingstown and Brad J. King of Irvine, CA; a brother, Alfred King, Jr. of North Kingstown; six grandchildren, Katelyn, Jack, Avery, Madison, Sarah & Maddie as well as numerous friends in the community. His memorial service will be private.
