J. Laurentino Lozano Barrozo, age 70, of East Chicago, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Laurentino is survived by 2 children: Maria de Jesus (Francisco Ortiz) Lozano and Laurentino (Magdalena Lopez) Lozano; step daughter, Teresa Jimenez and her children, Edgar Tovar and Meriam Tovar; grandchildren: Jaqueline Ortiz, Eduardo Ortiz, Angelique Ortiz, Guadalupe Lozano, Brian Lozano and Allan Lozano; siblings: Artemio (Irma) Lozano, Roman Lozano, Ariel (Lorena) Lozano, Efrain (Petra) Lozano, Froilan (Josefina) Lozano, Rebeca (Andres Palma) Lozano, Teresa Lozano, Adrian Lozano, Armando Lozano, Jesus (Zoila) Lozano and Hilario Lozano; numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, corner of Indianapolis Blvd. and 144th Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. ___ officiating. Entombment to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, Februay 1, 2019 and from 9:30 am until time of Mass at the Church on Saturday morning.
