She was born in Paterson, NJ on January 5, 1921 the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth (Giliam) Molenstra. She lived in NJ for many years before moving to Newport in 2000 and then briefly to Claremont before moving back to Newport. While in NJ she worked for Curtis Wright and Mack Drugstore. Ivy helped out at Community Alliance in NH doing paperwork. She was a member of Stella Chapter #20 The Order of The Eastern Star in Clifton, NJ and was on the Board of Directors at Maple Manor in Newport. Ivy made a very tasty pizza! She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Serena of Springfield, NH; a granddaughter and her children, Stephanie Serena of Concord, NH and Wyatt Serena and Malori Haraburda; a grandson and his wife and their children, Shawn and Barbara Morgan of West Milford, NJ and Justin, Alexa and Jared; and a brother, Kenneth Molenstra of NJ. She is predeceased by her sister, Betty Joyce Allen. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Print Obituary
