Obituary of Irene Roche Irene K. Roche, 90, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 5, 2019 with her family by her side at Applewood Estates, Freehold Township. Irene was born and raised in Irvington. She had lived in Cranford, Bridgewater, and Hillsborough before moving here in 2006. Irene was a secretary for American Cyanamid in Bound Brook until her retirement. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Christopher in 1980; and her daughter, Tracey Roche in 1998. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Roche of Fort Edward, NY and Regina Indyk and her husband, Kenneth of Flemington, NJ; a grandson, Christopher DeValve of Glens Falls, NY; two sisters, Doris Savacool and her husband, Ray of Wall, NJ and Jean Kuczewski of Toms River; and three nephews. Relatives and friends may gather at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM until her funeral service at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carmelite Monastery, 26 Harmony School Road, Flemington, NJ 08822-2606.
