Irene Schuck January 16, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Irene Schuck, 90, formerly of Camp Hill and Hershey, and a resident of Homeland Center Harrisburg, passed away on January 16, 2019 in Harrisburg Hospital. She was born March 15, 1928 in Excelsior, PA, a daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Pellish) Adzema. Irene played basketball and sang in the choir in high school as she loved music and dancing. She was an active member of Good Shepherd Church for 60 years, serving as Scout den mother, running Bingo and working funeral lunches well in to her 80’s then joined St. Joan of Arc Church. Her greatest work was that of a loving wife to late Albert, and mother to her 5 sons; gardening, crafts, and crossword puzzles. Surviving are sons, William P. (Lynn C.) Schuck of Hummelstown, Gerard A. (Pamela) Schuck of Culpeper, VA, Phillip J. (Amy) Schuck of Wakefield, RI, Joseph (Carol) Schuck of McMurray, PA, and James (Nicole) Schuck of Camp Hill; 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and sister Helen (Bernie) Pasierb of Kulpmont, PA. She was the widow of Albert J. Schuck who passed away in 2003 after 54 years of marriage. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by a sister, Delores Zaborny. Visitations will be held in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 88 Lucy Avenue, Hershey on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 2 – 4 p.m. & 6:30 to 8 p.m., with the Rosary at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11AM in St. Joan of Arc Church, 359 W. Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Assn., 3001 Old Gettysburg Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
