Helen Virginia “Gina” Harman January 23, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Helen Virginia “Gina” Harman 95, formerly of Harrisburg, died Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Church of God Home, Carlisle. Mrs. Harman was born in Harrisburg and was the daughter of the late Donald and Elsie (Davis) McGee. She was retired from Central Dauphin Central School District, where she was a cafeteria manager at E.H. Phillips Elementary School and was formerly employed at Fanny Farmers. She was a member of the Estralita Chapter of Eastern Star, Scampers Camping Organization and a life member of Harrisburg Church of God, where she was active member, deaconess and longtime choir member. She enjoyed camping, travel, gardening, spending time with her family. Mrs. Harman was predeceased by her husband, Jonas E. “Ed” Harman, her sister, Dorothy Edmondson and her brother, Donald K. McGee, Jr. Mrs. Harman is survived by her daughter, Sheila M. (Dr. James B. Nesbit) Harman of Kauai, HI; her son, Keith E. (Kathy) Harman of Harrisburg; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, at 11 A.M. at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 6011 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg. The Rev. Ben Zimmerman will be officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 10 to 11 A.M. at the funeral home, prior to the service. Memorial Contributions may be made to Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartran Way, Suite 115, Harrisburg, Pa. 17110.
