Hedwig D Guzik 2019

Hedwig D. “Hedy” Guzik, 97, of Palmer Township, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019 in New Eastwood Healthcare Center. Born November 30, 1921, in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Zygmont and Pauline (Stetz) Misczenski. Her husband, Joseph S. Guzik, died November 24, 1982. Hedy retired as a cafeteria worker from Easton Area School District. She enjoyed spending time with friends and going to social clubs to dance and casinos. Hedy was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. Surviving are a daughter, Gloria J. Norman, of Palmer Township; a brother, Steven Misczenski, of Northampton and a sister, Gloria Toth, of Bethlehem; three grandchildren, Erica Guzik, Allen J. Norman, Jr. and Kimberly Gordon and her husband Trevor; and four great-grandsons, Tyler and Nathan Gordon, Jack and Jeremy Hodges. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Stanley Guzik; a son-in-law, Allen J. Norman, Sr.; a grandson, Stanley J. Guzik; a brother, Stanley Misczenski and two sisters, Charlotte Wardenski and Irene Diefenderfer. Private services will be held in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Easton.
