Grace “Gracie” B. Buchanan, 86, of Candler passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals in Asheville. Born August 16, 1932 in Mitchell County, she was a daughter of the late William and Annie Buchanan. She retired from Square D after 22 years of service, and was a member of Maple Ridge Baptist Church in Candler. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Marie Edward, Leon, Ben, Leonard, Tarp, Lane, and Kilroy Buchanan. Surviving are her children, Kenny L. Buchanan of Candler and Teresa A. Harrison and her spouse, Bobby, of Canton; grandchildren, Tanya William and John Chasteen; and four wonderful great grandchildren.
