She was born in Staten Island, New York, the daughter of John and Edith (Gargon) Hogarth. She was a retired telephone operator supervisor for NBC. Gladys is survived by her sons, Vincent Ambrosino, Frank Spadafora, John Spadafora, and Mark Spadafora; her sister, Edith Columbo; 19 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Pinecrest Funeral Chapel, Sunday, January 13, 2019, from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM, with a wake service at 7:30PM. A funeral mass will be conducted on Monday, January 14, 11:00AM at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens.
