Obituary of George Barto George K. Barto passed away unexpected on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at his home in Joliet, at the age of 58. George was born on July 7, 1960, the son of Robert George and Helen Louise (nee Weese) Barto. George was a lifelong resident of Joliet and was a graduate of Joliet Central High School. George was a caring man, who loved his family more than anything, and dedicated his time to taking care of his parents. He was a handyman that took pride in fixing things around the house. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars, camping and being outside. George was a loving son, a devoted brother and uncle, and a loyal friend to many. George is survived by his sisters, Patricia Seida and Cynthia (Eugene) Martin; his aunts and uncles, Ardis Liccardi, Rosie Schure, and Art (Susan) Weese; and several nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was preceded by his parents; his brother, Robert Lawrence Barto; and his brother-in-law, Joe Seida. Visitation for George K. Barto will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL.
