MURPHY, Francis W. “Frank”, Jr.- Of Chelsea, January 16th. Devoted son of Patricia (Gurkin) Murphy-Marsters and her late husband William and the late Francis W. Murphy, Sr. Father of Erin Kate Murphy of Chelsea. Beloved brother of Debra Murphy and her wife Beverly Corwin of Beverly, Patricia Blais and her husband Jack of Holliston, Steven Murphy and his wife Joy of Plymouth and the late James Murphy. Lovingly survived by 6 nieces and 1 nephew. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Mass celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols Street, Chelsea on Tuesday, January 22nd at 10 o’clock. (Those attending are asked to gather at the Church by 9:50 AM. Parking is available in the lot directly behind the Church) Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, Chelsea on Monday from 3-7 PM. Burial Services will be Private. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Chelsea Firefighters Relief Association, c/o Michael Thompson, 307 Chestnut St., Chelsea, MA 02150.
