He was born in Montreal, Canada and moved to Seminole in 1986 from St. Albans, Vermont. He was a dairy farmer and worked for Central Vermont Public Service. Fernand was a veteran of World War II, who landed on D-Day as a frontline medic for the Army. He was a faithful catholic and member of Blessed Sacrament Church. He is survived by his wife of seventy years, Helen, daughter Sandra Tatro and fiancé Roger Edelman, granddaughters Kelly (Charlie) Hunt, Charlene (Steve) Rossi, great grandchildren, Emily, Hailey, Angelina, Jacob, Audry, Charlene and Yolande Dawson, his only surviving sibling. Fern was loved by all who knew him, his infectious smile and joyous laughter will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 11565 66th Ave N, Seminole, FL. All are welcome to attend.
