Obituary for Elizabeth H. Carr Elizabeth H. Carr 93, of Grand Island, passed away on January 1, 2019. She was born December 27, 1925 in Richmond, Virginia to James Samuel and Caroline Chewing Harris. She, and her husband, Dr. Allen Carr, moved here in 1994 from Welch, West Virginia. Dr. Carr passed away in 2003, they were married for 55 years. She was a very active member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church of Eustis. Elizabeth is survived by her children; Carol Ann (Stephen) Luche of Grand Island, Florida and Arthur Allen (Susan) Carr Jr. of Franklin, Tennessee and her grandson; Alex (Wendy Polka) Carr of Richmond, Virginia.
