He was one of 11 children born to his loving parents. From an early age, Nin showed his commitment to hard work and helping people by working alongside his parents before leaving home. Nin, married his sweetheart, “Ramonita” and together they raised Elvis and Audris. Nin lived a fruitful life, using his experiences, wisdom, and calm demeanor to work on his passions and teach his loved ones the value of family. Once in the United States, he used his knowledge of farming, management and entrepreneurship to move his family forward. There was not a task too complicated for him. Eventually he started a business with his wife, working side by side with Ramonita, restoring and reupholstering furniture. He understood the importance of “making a living” but his family and devotion to God were priority. On his days off, you could find Nin at home with his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and eventually, great – grandchildren, making his delicious meals and telling stories. On Sunday, January 20th 2019, Nin went to sleep and awoke in the Gates of Heaven to embrace his creator, Our Lord Jesus Christ. We put our hope in the Lord, He is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His Holy Name. Let your unfailing love surround us Lord, for our hope is in you alone. Psalm 33: 18 – 22 NLT Nin, today we celebrate your eternal life in heaven. You have served your purpose for which God created you. You leave us with a legacy of love, faith, unity and family. You have marked our lives in such a beautiful way that generations will be blessed by your testimony. Although our hearts ache due to this temporary separation, we rejoice in all the beautiful memories we have with you. You planted so many seeds of love. You were the greatest husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, father in law, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. You will live forever in our hearts and we will soon meet again. Nin is preceded in death by his parents and nine of his siblings. He is survived by his wife, his children and their partners: Johanna Cerda, Audris Cerda Centeno , Eli Samuel, Elvis Cerda, Heidy Jerez and his former daughter in law, Kassandra Galezo.
