OBITUARY Eldon Lantz November 30, 1937 – January 27, 2019 Play Tribute Movie Eldon Lantz, age 81, of Waterford, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 27, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Pauline. Loving father of Sharon (Donald) Wiles and Lisa (David) Kennedy. Treasured grandfather of Reed Morgan, Drake Morgan, James Kennedy and Amanda Kennedy. Dear brother of Joe (Jerry) Lantz and brother-in-law of Robert (Lois) Cloughley, Joe (Betty) Cloughley and Paul Cloughley. Proud uncle of many nieces and nephews. Eldon was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on November 30, 1937 to Joseph and Irene Lantz. He moved to Kansas City with his family in 1951, where he met the love of his life and married Pauline in 1960. They moved to Michigan in 1971 and after years of working, retired to Arizona in 1988. Eldon said goodbye to his loving wife in 1999 and returned to Michigan in 2003 to be closer to his daughters and grandsons. He enjoyed watching any sports, most of all U of M and Nebraska football, and he was a faithful Lions fan to the end. He loved watching his grandsons play all their sports and enjoyed a good laugh with his family and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm and Friday, February 1, 2019 from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00am at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland. Burial at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Scottsdale, Arizona. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
