Edwin W. Eggers, 56, of Camanche, passed away January 29, 2019 at his home – Camanche. A Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 3:30 pm at the Camanche Chapel Snell–Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. A Celebration of Life will follow starting at 5pm at the Poor House Tap in Camanche. Edwin William Eggers was born March 5, 1962, the son of Wendell and Diane (Edens) Eggers. He was a 1980 graduate of Camanche High School. He worked for the city of Camanche for many years in the sewage treatment plant. He was a union millwright for many years to follow. Edwin enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, spending time with his friends and family, socializing in his community, and was a big Chicago Bears fan. Edwin is survived by his children: Erika Rose Thomas of Camanche and Ethan (Jessica) Eggers of Solon, Iowa; four grandchildren: Jodyn, Laura, Doni Rae and Jaxon; one brother John Eggers of Florida and many cousins. He was preceded in his death by his parents. Memorial may be made to the family.
