Edwin’s Obituary Edwin S. Prist, age 86, of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2019. Beloved husband of Gloria Prist nee Zona. Loving father of Gwen (Craig) Amundsen, and Gina (Ken) Harris. Cherished grandfather of Amy Amundsen, Aaron Amundsen, Lauren Harris and Nicolas Harris. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Edwin was preceded in death by 4 sisters; Marie Leech, Ann Zawada, Helen Zarante, Josephine Dluzak, one brother: Frank Prist, and his parents, Joseph and Regina Biernat-Prist. Edwin was a retired Architect, and proud U.S. Army, Korean War Veteran. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Services will be private.
