Edward’s Obituary Edward Joseph Sullivan, 59, of Wallins passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019, at his residence with his family by his side. Born December 22, 1959 in Harlan County, he worked as a mechanic for an auto body shop and believed in the Pentecostal faith. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Edward Joseph Sullivan. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Diane Curtis Sullivan, Wallins; his mother, Mandy Webb Sullivan, South Carolina; three children, Barbara Colinger (Marion), Harlan; Elza Day (Taylor Cotton), Wallins; and Edward Joseph Sullivan (Stephanie), Corbin; six brothers, Harmon Sullivan, Lexington; Emanuel Sullivan, South Carolina; Reason Sullivan, Wallins; Jim Sullivan, Tennessee; Jake Sullivan, South Carolina and Fred Sullivan, South Carolina; and two sisters, Myrtle Stevens, South Carolina and Oma Stanley, Tennessee. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Haley Sullivan, Brayden Sullivan, Eli Sullivan, Kaley Sullivan Hannah Colinger, Harley Colinger, Venessa Day, Neveah Day and special friend, Jordan Howard. Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019, at the Park Howard Cemetery at Wallins with Reverend James Burkhart and Reverend John Smith officiating.
