Earnest “Ernie” Lee Mabry, 70, of 44A Bend Hill Rd., Fredonia, (Delaware Twp.), PA, passed away following a brief illness at 2:24 am on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Sharon Regional Medical Center in Sharon, PA. He was born in Roanoke, VA on January 24, 1948 to the late, Lonnie Racine and Eva Gray (Noel) Mabry. Ernie served as a sergeant in the United States Army during Vietnam. Ernie attended Greenville… Read More » High School and worked as a welder at Trinity Industries formerly Greenville Steel Car for 35 years and T Bruce Sales, Inc. in West Middlesex for 12 years. He was a Boy Scout leader and coached Little League in Fredonia. Ernie enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, four wheeling, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife at home, Kathleen “Kathy” S. (Ammann) Mabry. They were married on March 29, 1968. Also surviving are: two daughters, Tawnya Corcoran of Transfer, PA, and Tina Mabry-Dando, and her husband, Bob, of New Castle, PA; seven brothers and sisters, Dot Schoonover, and her husband, Gerald, of VA, Bonnie Goad, and her husband, Junior, of VA, Bill Mabry of Hermitage, PA, Jerry Mabry of FL, Dolly Fischer, and her husband, Buddy, of VA, Vickie Mabry of Transfer, PA, Linda Mabry-Foley, and her husband, John, of Greenville, PA; three grandchildren, Felicia Heath, Angie Mabry, and Cody Corcoran; and five great-grandchildren, Trinity, Lily, Luke, Pippy, and Ryder. In addition to his parents, Ernie was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Mabry. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019, from 2:00 pm – 4:45 pm at Osborne-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 73-75 Columbia Ave., Greenville. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 5:00 pm on Thursday, January 10, 2019. Cremation will follow the services.
