OBITUARY Dorothy M Pettigrew June 8, 1928 – January 8, 2019 Dorothy Pettigrew, 90 of Lincoln, passed away January 8, 2019. Born June 8, 1928 in Lincoln to Merle and Lola (Rhodes) Calkins. Lifelong member of Southview Christian Church, where she sang in the church choir; member of ABWA and the Lincoln Women’s Bowling Association. Survivors include her children, Kay (Mike) White of Lincoln; Connie Powell of Memphis, TN and Linda (Gary) Stansbury of Lincoln; grandchildren, Michael Prendes of Lincoln; Bayleigh Pettigrew of Long Beach, CA; Tara (Lance) St Clair of Corsicana, TX; Amber (Angela) Webb of Memphis, TN; Gene Powell of Glen Burnie, MD; Matthew (Favor Larson) Hill of Medford, OR and Danielle (Austin) Kaliff of York, NE; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Burt in 2006. Services will be Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:30 AM at Southview Christian Church (2040 S. 22nd St) in Lincoln. A reception will follow at the church. Memorials are suggested to Southview Christian Church.
