OBITUARY Dorothy M. Durdin February 20, 1921 – January 2, 2019 Dorothy M. Durdin, 97, passed away January 2, 2019. Dorothy was born February 2, 1921 in Ft. Worth, TX to the late Laura M. and John N. Suggs Jr. Dorothy loved her family and adored her great-great granddaughter. She loved her coffee and cookies every day. She will be greatly missed. Dorothy is survived by her son-in-law, Jerry Skates; granddaughters, Laurie A. McVay of Victoria, Pamela Marshall (Jim) of Tulsa, OK; grandson, Michael Skates (Janet) of Tulsa, OK; great-grandchildren, Jimmy Marshall (Candace) of Tulsa, OK, Nicholas Moellman (Nicole) of South Carolina, Zachary W. Skates (Esthefania Jimenez), Stephen Marshall and Megan Skates all of Tulsa, OK and her great-great granddaughter, Laurel May Moellman. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernes V. Durdin; brothers, Minor, Pat and John N. Suggs Jr.; daughters, Virgie A. McVay and Laura F. Skates. A graveside service will be Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Moellman, Michael Skates, Zachary Skates, Stephen Marshall, Megan Skates and Jim Marshall. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of South Texas or VCAM.
