Donnie Bryant Holland, Jr, known to family and friends as J.R., passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas B. Holland. Donnie leaves behind a wife of 24 years, Cynthia L. Holland; children, Jimmy L. Greer and wife Denise, Sabrina A. McEachin-Greer, Chantel M. Greer; and grandchildren Alexandria Robinson, Akil Bilal, Sohia Greer, Malaysia Scott, and Davina Greer. He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Bailey; siblings, Diane Mansfield, Beverly Parker and husband Tim, and Jackie Patterson and husband Patrick; three nieces, four nephews as well as a work family of fourteen years, Hornaday Homes, LLC. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Fayetteville Billiards Supply, 1813 Pamalee Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28301. A visitation with the family will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the family to help during this difficult time.
