Donald Thorne II June 15 1974 January 27 2019

Donnie Thorne, 44, passed away at UNC Hospital on Sunday, January 27, 2019. He worked for Smith International until the time of his illness. Donnie is loved by his family very much and enjoyed fishing at the coast, cooking, and spending time with his wife and family. Donnie is survived by his wife, Trina Thorne of the home; father, Donald Ray Thorne I and wife Barbara Thorne; mother, Shelley Phelps Smith of Fayetteville; brother, Steven B. Thorne and wife Kristin Thorne of Virginia Beach; sister, Krystle Odom of Fayetteville; children, Summer Parker, Zoie Parker, Skye Parker, Halen Parker; granddaughter, Malani Riley (Beedie); mother-in-law, Helen Lowry; and grandfather, Seth W. Thorne. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Praise Fellowship Church of Good, 514 Adams St, Fayetteville with Richard Williford presiding. There will be a visitation with the family before the service at 5:00 pm at the Church. We the family, express our gratitude and thanks to you, our friends and loved ones for all your deeds of kindness and love rendered to us during Donnie’s time of illness and our bereavement.
