Donald Eugene Waller, Sr. August 21, 1926 – January 21, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Donald Eugene Waller, Sr., 92, of McAlester, died Monday, Jan. 21, at a local nursing center. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Jan. 25, at 10:00 a.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Crowson officiating, assisted by Felix Waller. Don Waller, Sr. was born on Aug. 2,1 1926 in Kansas to Lester and Georgia Waller. He married Alice Marie Simpson on Feb. 14, 1947 in DeWitt, Ark., where they lived all of their adult lives until coming to McAlester in 1999. Mr. Waller worked as a salesman of heavy farm equipment and also operated a catfish farm. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Don, Jr. and Sandra Waller; grandsons, Bob Waller and wife Jovelyn and Felix Waller; great grandchildren, Bobby, Jr., Shawna, Brooklin, Kaylee and Jaela Waller; a sister, Neva Kunke; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; parents, Lester and Georgia Waller; brothers, Ivan and Kenneth Waller. The family asks that memorial donations be made to 831 Missions Church, Youth Center Building Fund, P.O. Box 1993, McAlester, Ok. 74502.
