Obituary for Dixie Lee Graham Dixie Lee Graham was born on February 19, 1937 in Salisbury to the late Ernest Guarro and Catherine Hastings. She departed this life on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the age of 81, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Dixie was educated in Frederick at the Maryland School for the Deaf. She is survived by her sister, Donna Graham; a brother, Richard Adams; six children, Paul Collins of Salisbury, Cheryl Wilson of Delmar, Elizabeth Graham of Bridgeville, Sandra Barbely of Newark, Guy Graham of Ocean City, and Maria Bateman of Mardela Springs. In addition she leaves grandchildren and great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury. Family and friends are welcome to join the family for a fellowship meal at 907 East Elizabeth Street, Delmar, MD 21875 following the interment. The Graham family wishes to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to family and friends who have traveled to be with them during the passing of their loved one.
