Diane C Fields 1937 2019

Obituary of Diane Fields Longtime Porterville resident, Diane Fields, 82, died peacefully at home, Monday, January 24th. Diane was born in Exeter, CA and graduated from Lindsay High School and 4C’s College. As a young woman, she settled in Porterville and worked at the Tulare County Fruit exchange. Diane was known as a voracious reader and lover of libraries. She had a quick wit, a wonderfull sense of humor and an incredible capacity to give to others. She enjoyed a large circle of long time Porterville friends. For 52 years, Diane and Bob Fields were husband and wife, business partners and best friends. Together they raised five children, ran a successful jewelry store and “had a ball”, as Bob likes to say, traveling the world, enjoying life, family and friends. Diane is survived by her husband Bob and children, David, Kelly, Robert and Brian, four grandchildren, Wyatt, Elena, Andrew and Adrianna, and was pre-deceased by her son, Jeff. She will be deeply missed by all her family, but as Diane once told us, in typical Diane fashion, “Miss me a little, but not for too long”.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Diane C Fields 1937 2019.
