Dennis R. Logisz January 19, 1954 – December 31, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Dennis was the devoted son of Florence M. Logisz (nee Martin) and the late Alexander A. Logisz, loving brother of Carol Moyer (James) of Doylestown, PA, the late Roman Logisz, Rosemary Logisz of Des Plaines, Nicholas Logisz (Susan) of Mt. Prospect, the late Timothy Logisz (Leanne), Donna Logisz of Spring Grove, and John Logisz (Kimberly) of Schaumburg. Fond aunt of Lillian Stern (nee Martin). Dennis was a proud uncle and loyal friend to many. He was born on January 19, 1954 in Chicago, IL but lived most of his life in Des Plaines. He graduated from Maine West High School in 1972. After working in his own painting and decorating business for many years, he officially retired in 2015. His business clients commented many times on how thrilled they were with the work he had done. Dennis was always there for anyone who needed his help whether it was family, friend or neighbor. Dennis’s sense of humor and witty remarks kept everyone smiling and laughing just like his favorite comedians, The Three Stooges. He was an avid fisherman and spent many hours up north in Wisconsin trying for the big one, and occasionally got it. He loved trivia and could always answer that one impossible question when watching Jeopardy with Mom. His favorite diversion was a trip to the casino and card games with his buddies. Memorial gathering January 12th from 10:30 a.m. until mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Zachary Church, 567 W. Algonquin Rd. Des Plaines, IL 60016. Interment will be private.
