OBITUARY Dennis Duly July 11, 1940 – January 21, 2019 Dennis Duly, 78, passed away on January 21, 2019. He was born on July 11, 1940, the son of the late Russell and Lucile Duly. Dennis was a graduate of Central High School and a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. He met his wife, Diane in kindergarten and had the pleasure of spending 60 wonderful years together. Dennis worked as a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 33 years before his retirement. He was a family man and a devoted and caring grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane; children, Randy (Sue) Duly and Jeff (Meaghan) Duly; grandchildren, Suzanna, Jack, Maggie, Anna and Matt Duly; and nieces and nephews, Cheryle, Georgia, Rodney, Lisa, Robert, Bill and Jim. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825, with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019 also at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Eel River Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church.
