David Oscar Horton, 66, of Covington, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019 at Piedmont Athens. He was born in Swainsboro, GA to William Ralph and Jimmie Arlene (Price) Horton, Sr. David was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved watching GA football and the Atlanta Falcons, enjoyed music, especially singing Country music and yard work. David proudly served his country in the U S Army and he retired from CW Matthews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Melvin Horton. David is survived by his loving wife, Aundale Geneva Horton of Covington, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Mike Heard of Kellytown, GA, Jessica and Jordan Edwards of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Lindsey Heard, Lauran Heard, Jeremiah Edwards, Juliana Edwards; sisters, Kathy and Russell Robertson of Newnan, GA, Alma Sorrows of Hampton, GA; brother, Ralph and Catherine Horton, Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA; brother-in-law, William Dan Weaver.
