Obituary for Darlene Blackmore Darlene Blackmore, Worthington, IN, passed away Monday December 24, 2018 at the age of 79 after a long battle with cancer. Darlene is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Mike Blackmore, two beloved step-children, Janell Blackmore of Apopka, Florida; and David Blackmore of Marietta, Georgia; two grandchildren, Courtney and Cameron, a brother, Jim Hubler of Battletown, Kentucky, a sister, Janet Hubler of Marietta, Georgia. Darlene was born December 31, 1938 in Odon, Indiana to Bill and Almeda Hubler, she was a 1956 graduate of Odon High School, she worked at the Odon Milling Company for many years and later with the Greene County Child Services. Her interest included music, animals, decorating and time with friends. She never had an unkind word for anyone. She enlivened any group; her loving and kind spirit will be missed by all who knew her. The family will have a private burial and Celebration of life for friends and relatives in the spring.
