Dale’s Obituary Dale Otis Hiestand, was called to God’s presence at age 95 last thursday december 27, 2018 at his home in Cooper City, Florida If there were words to define his legacy and summarize his life they would be: humility and wisdom. Passionate of knowledge he initiated his university education in Pasadena College 1941-1943, Occidental College February 1943 – June 1943, St Thomas July 1943 – February 1944, Harvard University where he got a business degree/CPA March 1944 – February 1945, economics degree 1946 – January 1947, NBA January 1947 for Business administration. Dale had a high sense of love for his country which is why he entered the navy as a lieutenant and served in World War II from July 1, 1944 to April 21,1946. He also served in the Korean war in May 14, 1951 to October 14, 1952. Of reserved character and with deep convictions, Dale was involved in church and considered the members of Parkway Christian Church and schools as his family. Dale certainly leaves a deep impression in our lives. A memorial service will be held on January 6, 2019 at 1 pm followed by lunch at Parkway Christian Church, 1200 South Flamingo Road, Davie, Florida. Read More
