Clyde E. Hawk, 80, of Acme, passed away Sat. Jan. 12, 2019 in the UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born June 16, 1938 in Scottdale a son of the late Lawrence and Edith Thomas Hawk. He had worked as a Coal Miner for Delmont Resources. He was a board member of the LDRA (Lake Donegal Recreational Area). Clyde is survived by his wife of 62 years Mary K. Fuoss Hawk, his children Randy Hawk, Marcy Glowacki and husband George, Rob Hawk and wife Linda, Ron Hawk and wife Lori, and Jim Hawk and wife Tammy, his 8 grandchildren, his 7 great grandchildren, and his brother and sisters James, Viola, Minnie, Helen, Mary, and Linda. In addition to his parents Clyde was predeceased by a son Rick, a brother Vernon, and his sisters Pauline and Thelma. Family and friends will be received Tue. from 2-8 PM in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., at the corner of route 711 and 146 Municipal Building Rd., Melcroft (724-455-2310) where a Funeral Service will be held Wed. at 11:00 AM, with Pastor John Blackburn officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Brown Cemetery, Acme.
