She was born to Chester & Agnes Ankeney on May 13, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio. Clara retired from Bluebird Bakery after over 29 years of service. She was a member of Dayton First Freewill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm, Sr.; daughter, Nancy Blair; son, Malcolm, Jr. “Mackie.” Survived by sons, Steven & Duane Blair; 12 grandchildren & several great grandchildren; sister, Debbie and brother, Robert. Funeral service 12 noon Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019 at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, “Northridge Chapel,” 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 11 a.m., prior to the service, at the George C. Martin Funeral Home. Condolences can be shared at www.georgecmartinfuneralhome.com.
