Obituary for Cindy Shelton Holifield Print Cindy Shelton Holifield (March 21, 1962 – January 26, 2019) Cindy Shelton Holifield, 56 of Pensacola, FL, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, January 26, 2019. She was born in Pensacola, FL to her loving parents Ruth Walters and Lee U. Shelton. Cindy was very bright and exceled in many things. She was an exceptional piano player. Cindy could play by ear and read sheet music. She graduated high school in 1980, then went on though the early years to find her nitch in Cosmetology. Cindy also had a real zeal for arts and crafts. She was heavily involved in her church activities. Cindy was very nurturing as a foster parent and loved working with special needs children. For years Cindy loved to visit Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. She had the privilege of witnessing the birth of her grandchildren. Cindy is preceded in death by Mr. O.T Booker and Ruth Booker; Uncle, Bobby Roy Booker; cousin, Pamela Ann Gahimer; mother-in-law, Glenda Ann Holifield. Cindy leaves her to cherish her memories mother, Ruth Walters; sister, Cathy Money; husband, Timothy R. Holifield; 2 daughters, Kelsey Holifield, Amber Brown; grandchildren, Cameron, Serenity, Mary Ruth, and Ally. A going home service will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home on Thursday, January 31, 2019, with a visitation starting at 12:00 p.m., and the service following at 1:00 p.m. We will go in precession to lay her to rest at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
