EASTMAN FUNERAL HOME 419-929-3781 Charles C. Hall, 79 of New London, past away unexpectedly at home on January 27, 2019. He was born September 24, 1939 in Floyd County, Kentucky, son of the late Dave and Maggie Hall. Charles worked at the Wellington Foundry and retired from the New London Foundry. After retiring he enjoyed raising a garden, working on old lawn mowers, but most of all spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids. Charles is survived by his wife of 45 years, Diane (Harvey) Hall; his children, Ronald (Karen) Shepherd, Kimberly (Bryan) Deppen, Woodroe (Patricia) Shepherd, Amanda (Chris) Candler; his grandchildren, Robert (Courtney) Shepherd, Shasta (Trevor) Harlow, Samantha (Mike) Hardman, Timothy (Helena) Shepherd, Kristin Shepherd, Melvin Deppen, Chris and Bryce Candler; great grandchildren, Paiton, Morgan, Trinity, Tegan, Travis, Cassandra, Michael, Lillian, Bella and Kaeden; his brothers, Dale and Tommy Hall; his sister, Lucille Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his siblings, James, Frank, Alaska, Bessie and Linda Sue. Friends may call from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St., New London where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2019. Burial will follow at Fitchville Cemetery. After the burial everyone is invited to a luncheon at the Heileman Building in New London.
