CHARLES’ Obituary CHARLES ALLEN SHETTERS, age 62, of Decherd, Tenn., departed this life suddenly at Erlanger Health Systems in Chattanooga, Tenn., on Friday, January 18, 2019. Mr. Shetters was born in Cowan, Tenn., to the late James Henry Shetters and Ruby Clark Shetters on July 1, 1956. Mr. Shetters was employed for many years as Captain of Utility Boats that delivered supplies to oil rigs in Morgan City, Louisiana. He enjoyed the water and being on the water. He is a member of the Winchester Church of Christ. Mr. Shetters loved Mexican food. He is survived by his sister, Linda Curtis of Decherd. A Private Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 19. Read More
