C.C.’s Obituary C.C. Sprinkle, Jr, loving husband and father, passed away at age 97 at Park of the Palms assisted living center in Keystone Heights, FL on Thursday, January 11, 2019. C.C. was proceeded in death by his wife, Dotty and son Bob. He leaves two sons, David and Tom; 4 grandsons; one great granddaughter and six great grandsons. C.C. was born on October 11, 1921 in Toccoa, GA. to C.C. Sprinkle, Sr and Alice Sprinkle. C.C. received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A & M in College Station, Tx. C.C. served as a lieutenant in the US Army Air Corps and flew a B 26 with the 319th Bomber group during World War two. C.C. met Dorothy Louise Lee Speights at Barksdale Field, LA in 1944, fell in love and married her on October 23,1945 in Shreveport, LA. C.C. moved to Overland Park, Kansas and worked for Proctor and Gamble in Kansas City, Kansas as a Chemical Engineer for 35 years. C.C. was active in Boy Scouting, shared a love of camping, an avid hiker and loved the outdoors. He will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Read More
