Obituary for Cathy Lynn Clontz (Phillips) Mrs. Cathy Lynn Phillips Clontz, age 48 passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, January 20, 2019. The family will receive friends from 11am to 1:30 pm Saturday, January 26 at Wilkinson Funeral Home. A service to celebrate her life will be at Wilkinson Funeral Home chapel at 2pm with Rev. Dr. James Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens. Cathy was born September 9, 1970 in Cabarrus County. She was the daughter of Ann Goodman Phillips of Concord and the late Richard W. Phillips. Cathy was employed at Hickory Ridge Middle School in Harrisburg. Her family was the most important thing, and the beach was her getaway place. She was loved by so many and will be missed beyond measure. In addition to her mother, those left to mourn Cathy’s loss is her loving husband of 29 years, Mike Clontz; daughter, Summer Clontz; sons, Michael Clontz Jr. and fiancée, Brooke, and Brandon Clontz; sister, Kim McCrary and husband, Robert; nephews, Taylor and Noah McCrary; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Steve and Angie Clontz; nieces Jessica and Jordan Clontz; and numerous other loving relatives and friends.
