Carolyn H. (Skillen) Chambers, 84 of Frazer Township, died Sunday January 27, 2019 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Harrison Township. She was born May 1, 1934 in Harrison Township to the late George K. and Edythe C. (Prager) Skillen. Carolyn grew up in West Deer graduating from West Deer High School in 1952. She worked at Allegheny Ludlum Steel, Brackenridge as a legal secretary for 5 years then retired to be a homemaker raising her children and caring for her family. She enjoyed gardening. Survivors include her children Eileen D. Nelson of Upper Burrell, David W. Chambers and his girlfriend Cindy Naccarelli of Frazer and Robert H. (Susie) Chambers of Smyrna, TN, grandchildren Tara (Scott), Michael, Jennifer (George), Alex and Jodi, greatgrandchildren Brooke and Ezra and her sisters Marion Ohl of Fawn Township and Gloria Buckner of Palm Bay, Fla. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harold L. Chambers and her siblings Dorothy Hribar and Robert Skillen. Friends received Tuesday from 11 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township with the Rev.
