Obituary for Carol Zimmerman Carol Zimmerman, 82 of Long Branch, died Saturday, January 19, 2019 surrounded by her family at home. Born in Long Branch, Carol was a lifelong resident. She was a Procurement Officer at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown before retiring in 1995. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert De Caro. Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Laura Zimmerman and Bryan Zimmerman; her brother, Paul Arrigo, Jr.; her sister-in-law, Harriet De Caro; a granddaughter, Monica Zimmerman and 2 great grandchildren, Fiona and Avery Eason. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23 from 6-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave in Long Branch. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 am until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport.
