OBITUARY Carol M. Gamblin Carol M. Gamblin, 77 years of Millstadt, IL., passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at her residence. She was born February 2, 1941, in Waynesville, MO. Carol worked at Memorial Hospital of Belleville, IL., until her retirement. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, IL, the VFW Ladies Auxillary, and the Senior Center. She enjoyed crocheting and she loved her grandchildren. Surviving are her Daughter, Kim Freeman; her Son, Terry (Beth) Gamblin; her Grandchildren, Christy (Hans) Freeman, Danny Freeman, Nathan (Bree Belosi) Freeman, Zach Gamblin, Ryan Gamblin, and Jake Hoffman; her Great-Grandchildren, Ava Freeman, Nyko Freeman, Zoe, Livi, and Lanie Freeman, Desi Freeman, and Cindy Freeman; her Sisters, Aleena Robertson, and Donna (Gary) Cain; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents, William and Elsie (Watson) Case, her Husband, Russell Eugene Gamblin and her Daughter, Angela Gamblin-Cissell. Visitation will be Friday, January 25, 2019 from 5-7 P.M. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL. Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Darrell Weber officiating. At Mrs. Gamblin’s request she will be cremated following the services. Inurnment will be in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, IL, or the Senior Center of Millstadt, IL.
