Carmen Hammond 2019

Carmen M. Hammond 89, died December 23, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Carmen was born June 12, 1929 to Hippolyt and Eva (Oliver) De Nutte. She was raised in Hooksett and has lived in Goffstown for most of her life. Carmen was a faithful and active member of St. Lawrence Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister for 25 + years. She dedicated herself to helping others as shown through her support of the Sisters of the Precious Blood, and her adopted son Reverend Peter of Kenya. She played the organ, enjoyed sewing, fishing and most of all spending time with her family. Members of her family include two children Donna L. Herbert and Leslie J. Hammond both of Goffstown. 10 grandchildren Charleen Eaton, Leanne Schoenfeld, Andrew Herbert, Daniel Herbert, Timothy Herbert, Anthony Herbert, Amanda Herbert, Alisha Herbert, Angelea Herbert and Alison Hammond. 14 great grandchildren Lucas Eaton, Tyler Eaton, Christian Eaton, Dilana Schoenfeld, Alec Schoenfeld, Makana Herbert, Charis Herbert, Gabriel Eaton, Kanoa Herbert, Kameron Herbert, Skarlet Herbert, Lyrik Herbert, Kalena Herbert and Timothy Herbert, Jr. She was the aunt to several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at French and Rising Funeral Home 17 South Mast St. Goffstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 10:00AM at St. Lawrence Church of Goffstown. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Lawrence Church Window Fund.
